It can be compared to a tsunami of change that demands proactive measures and attention with unclear outcomes. Businesses, the government, and charitable organizations will all need to concentrate their efforts on resolving the issues that come up roarleveraging. I was dissatisfied with most of the typical retirement tales when I wrote roarleveraging. I wanted more, but everyone thought I would just unwind and play golf. After I joined the Stanford Center on Longevity, I came to the realization that everything changes when you have more than 30 years of healthy life ahead of you. Our children will live even longer because we are the first generation to be gifted with more time. It’s thrilling, but we must remain involved and discover our mission.
I knew I wanted more adventure and travel because I’ve always loved those things. In addition, I made the decision to return to school and earn a master’s degree in nonprofit management. I came across a lot of people who were starting again after the age of fifty. This struck me as a movement.
